What does it mean to be vain? Does it mean self-pampering? Does it mean reveling in the beautiful, the frivolous, and the self? We think so.
Jeanne Lottie hosted the first Vanity Lounge to celebrate all the above with a host of other beauty experts, fashion and accessories designers and purveyors of offerings that make everyday life better by adding a dash of beauty to our surroundings. Here’s are a few pictures courtesy of one of the lovely ladies from Pink Mafia who came out to join in the fun.
Behind Jeanne Lottie’s Pink House is a well-kept secret that we’re unveiling to you today. …On a beautiful Thursday morning Jeanne Lottie and Bourjois Canada co-hosted a special event for press event in our Enchanted Tree-Top Deck. Luck was on our side, as clouds moved in but the weather held out for our special event. We invited more than 50 members of the press and our VIP customers to join us for delightful offerings of food that came courtesy of Pusateri. Matt was the lucky guy who served us decadent croissants, orange juice, cheeses, fresh fruit, and gourmet coffee. But of course, what French-themed gathering would be complete without macarons?
Cityline interviewed Jane Ip of Jeanne Lottie and Lisa Figuccio of Bourjois Paris about beauty and fashion trends for the upcoming seasons.
According to Jane Ip, colours keep going strong for Fall 2011. Orange is still very big, and prints take a leaf out of nature’s notebook: leopard, python and ostrich feathers are all the rage. Bags are more structured and those who like prim-and-proper will be pleased to know that lady-like is still in.
Both Jeanne Lottie and Bourjois Paris unveiled some new product offerings to the press. Jeanne Lottie offered up our crystal-studded teddy bear USB Flash Drives generated a lot of interest. Sweet that it doubles as a handbag charm! Lisa of Bourjois a number of great products, our favourite of which was their new spray-on bronzer called Délice de Soleil. We were so pleased to see the great turn-out. Chatelaine, Hello Magazine, Fashion, Zoomer, LouLou, Metro and so many other media reps came to share the food, take notes, and to mingle while Bourjois make-up artists in hot pink t-shirts gave everyone glowing natural touch ups.
1. Leopard Print Day Bag, $250; 2. Délice de Soleil from Bourjois Paris, 3. Snakeskin Print Day Bag, $75; 4. USB Teddy $20; 5. Ostrich Feather Clutch, $65
Everyone walked away happily with the Jeanne Lottie’s new colour-changing tote brimful of Bourjois goodies inside! Thank you to all of those who made it out!
If you missed this one, or if you just can’t wait for another party on the Enchanted Tree-Top Deck, join us this September for our Luncheon Fashion Show. Stay tuned to our Facebook page and Twitter feed for more info!

On December 8th, 2009, Canadian musicians and family members performed a tribute concert in Haydain Neale’s memory. CBC will be broadcasting the tribute concert again on the CBC Radio 2 program Canada Live, on Dec. 17 at 7 p.m. and again on Canada Live on CBC Radio One on Dec. 18 at 2 p.m.
By chance, I had the opportunity to meet and collaborate with Monica Graves of Glamjulz, a Toronto-based jewellery designer. We wanted to design a bag for the woman who wants it all: life, love, and fabulous accessories! So we put our heads together and came up with the We Want It All Bag. A bag that can be worn day-to-night, the soft pink bag comes paired with a necklace-and-earrings set that doubles as accessories for you, or for the bag.
Jeanne Lottie and Glamjulz created the We Want It All Bag exclusively to raise money for breast cancer through Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation.

Can you say “deeeee-lish!” I totally think finger food is tres-chic! I’m most definitely trying this dish at home the next time I throw a fabulous little soirée.
One thing’s for sure, when people are passionate about what they do, any dish or any party is sure to be a big hit!
The state of the economy made it quite a challenge to host another Pink Bedroom Party this year. Luckily, I simply adore a good challenge – it makes things far more interesting and rewarding, don’t you think?
Pink Bedroom Party 2009 was like a reunion of old friends, spiced up with fresh new blood! No economic doom and gloom here friends, only 600+ gloriously beautiful people, adoring positivity pink couture, generously giving to support our wonderful causes!!!! It’s all about spreading the L-O-V-E …
The night began with a speech by CFRB’s Bill Carroll, the MC for the evening. He jovially recounted how seven years ago, he met his wife, Sylvie, at the Pink Bedroom Party. Now, they are a picture-perfect family of four. How FABULOUS … I mean, can you imagine? Love connections AND giving to great causes. What could be better?
I wonder if Cupid’s bow struck again this year? I guess we’ll have to wait and see!
Overall, I’d say this year’s event was a great success! Passionate people came together to give to worthy causes, at a party fused with positive energy! This year, we raised far more than money – we raised awareness, and created a community that supports SickKids and Princess Margaret hospital! Together, we made a difference!
So, the moral of the story is to NEVER give up in the face a challenge! Emails are still pouring in daily expressing how much everyone loved the event and how they’re really looking forward to Pink 2010! I always say that fabulousness rubs-off and this year, the proof is in the PARTY! AND, what’s the icing on the cake? We just had Chum FM radio confirm, they would love to sponsor Pink next year!!!
What goes around comes around. Oh YES, it’s definitely all about spreading the Love, creating connections, building communities that care … And never forgetting that True Love is … True Happiness!

This week, we were lucky to be able to spend some time with modeling superstar and timeless beauty Cheryl Tiegs! The ever-marvellous Ms. Tiegs is the spokesperson for our super-generous Pink Bedroom Party sponsor, Cambria, and she popped by our showroom to pick up a stunning little piece of hand-candy – the Jeanne Lottie Black Vintage Bead Framed Bag! I mean … What blonde doesn’t adore a sparkly little clutch to stash her lip gloss, c-cards and evening essentials???
As it turns out, Cheryl is beautiful inside and out! For her, “True Happiness is … Being kind without fail,” a philosophy that would serve everyone well to embrace.
