Gorgeous! As some of you may know, Jeanne Lottie’s been a supporter of Miss Teen Canada for a while now. A little while ago, we met this year’s Miss Teen Canada: Channing Smendziuk. Hailing from Brandon, MB, Ms. Channing so sweetly represents the best of what the West has to offer.

Channing came by to pick up the bag from our most recent collection that we’ve donated to the organization she represents. Here she is with our our hot pink satchel.

I was invited as a speaker for North American Association of Asian Professionals (NAAAP) last Friday and it was overwhelming to be recognized as one of the Asian women leaders who has inspired others.

Sitting beside me at my table was Milly, a successful corporate lawyer, who spoke eloquently about her work and the challenges that she faced. I felt very fortunate sitting among all these wonderful, successful members of the Asian community. (more…)

Jeanne Beker was at our store just a little while ago! I’m so excited that she came to purchase presents for her Mom and her boyfriend’s daughter.

It must have been karma since I am not at the store often. That morning, it just so happened that I was reading her coverage of New York Fashion Week while I caught her radio promo for her new clothing line called Edit. (more…)
