Earlier last month, I met Miss Teen Canada, Siera Bearchell, a beautiful young woman. She’s talented, and smart, and involved in her community. During Siera’s visit to the Pink House, we talked about collaborating to spread the word about the great work that SickKids is doing. This woman knows how to spread the word!

Hopefully, with Siera on board, we can start to work together to paint…a future without cancer.

With that in mind, Jeanne Lottie is proud to donate more than 800 limited edition denim totes featuring collages hand-painted by the wonderful children at SickKids Hospital.

During Siera Bearchell’s  first visit to the Pink House, BabyDoll was stuck on this year’s Miss Teen Canada like a magnet! It’s pretty clear that Siera has an abundance of beauty on the outside, but she’s a great example of someone who possesses that glow that comes from within.  She’s an accomplished dancer, an undefeated golf champion, and works with charities – all while keeping up good grades in school. On December 8th, 2009, Canadian musicians and family members performed a tribute concert in Haydain Neale’s memory. CBC will be broadcasting the tribute concert again on the CBC Radio 2 program Canada Live, on Dec. 17 at 7 p.m. and again on Canada Live on CBC Radio One on Dec. 18 at 2 p.m.

Jeanne Lottie pays tribute to Haydain…

Loving, kind and talented Haydain Neale (Jacksoul) performed at the Pink Bedroom Party in
2004 and 2005 and promoted a lip imprint Campaign with his mom to help Kiss
Cancer Goodbye.

His music and spirits inspire us all forever.

I am visiting my Mom on Monday night and will give her my biggest hug…and I hope I
will meet Mrs. Haydain again, and do the same.

At 39 years of age, Juno Award winning artist Haydain Neale of Jacksoul
passed away last week….my thoughts are with his family.
